
Poggio Renatico, 28th February – The Joint Personnel Recovery Staff Course (JPRSC) 25-01, held from 17th to 28th of February, successfully concluded after two weeks of intensive training and collaboration. With 20 students coming from Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Canada, France, Croatia, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Belgium and USA, the course provided a comprehensive and demanding program designed to enhance expertise in operating as staff members inside a PRCC or a JPRC in multinational operations.
The success of this edition was made possible by the dedication and professionalism of the EPRC Staff members and the external instructors whose extensive knowledge and unwavering support were instrumental in guiding the students through scenarios and mission planning exercises. Their commitment ensured a high-quality learning experience, equipping participants with essential skills to operate in dynamic and challenging environments.
Throughout the course, students received extensive information on PR throughout a set of comprehensive lectures and were engaged in practical exercises, and scenario-based training, all of which reinforced the importance of coordination, adaptability, and decision-making in personnel recovery missions. The instructors’ ability to foster a collaborative and immersive learning environment significantly contributed to the course’s effectiveness.
As the students return to their respective units, they take with them valuable insights and a strengthened understanding of personnel recovery principles. The success of this JPRSC 25-01 underscores the importance of continued training and cooperation in enhancing multinational readiness and operational capability.
The second iteration of the course (JPRSC 25-02) will be held from the 07th to the 17th of October 2025.
